Mile Hill Road South Closes To Through-Traffic

On Monday, July 14, the full length of Mile Hill Road South will be closed to through-traffic to allow the town to make stormwater drainage improvements on the residential street, according to police.

The road closure will run from 7 am to 5 pm that day. Workers will be excavating in the area of 73-75 Mile Hill Road South, resulting in a barrier to traffic flow there.

Local traffic will be allowed to pass on Mile Hill Road South. Due to the excavation work at 73-75 Mile Hill Road South, traffic seeking to reach addresses higher than those numbers should approach them from Turkey Hill Road. Traffic seeking to reach addresses lower than those numbers should approach them from Wasserman Way, Cochran Street or Nunnawauk Road.

Signs will be posted alerting motorists of the through-traffic closure.
