In Remembrance Of 9/11

This is dedicated to the memory of those lost in the events of Tuesday, September 11, 2001:

To the 343 New York City firefighters who died doing what they do best, protecting the lives of countless victims while evacuating the buildings;

To the heroes of United Airlines flight 93 who knew what was about to happen and forced the plane away from populated areas and crashed it into the Pennsylvania countryside;

To the thousands of children who lost parents and to the thousands of parents who lost sons and daughters;

To the New York City Police Department, Port Authority officers, and EMS personnel who gave their lives to save others;

To the innocent passengers and crew of American Airlines flights 11 and 77, and United Airlines flight 175;

To the thousands of office personnel, maintenance workers, and security people who perished, many whom were heroes themselves;

To the victims and heroes of the pentagon crash site;

We salute all those whose courage embodies the Spirit and Heart of America.

God Bless America.

Bud Neal, Commander

American Legion Post 155, Woodbury
