Flea Market's Success Due To Efforts Of Many
Flea Marketâs Success Due To Efforts Of Many
To the Editor:
Thank you Newtown! Thank you for making our first annual Newtown Congregational Flea Market such a success! We were thrilled to see the crowds of people that stopped by! The crafts were beautiful, the food was delicious, and the bargains were plenty. With the Cyrenius Booth Library Book Sale and the Flea Market both at Fairfield Hills that weekend, it definitely was THE place to be.
Our flea market would not have been possible without David Roane and the great people of Tunxis Management. Not only did they allow us to hold it at Fairfield Hills, they also helped us to get organized. They also came out in force that day to help with setting up and traffic directing.
Thank you also to the Cyrenius Booth Library for allowing us to hold our flea market on the same weekend as the book sale. Thank you to the Town of Newtown for helping us and answering our many questions along the way.
A big thank you to The Newtown Bee for helping us get the word out to the people of Newtown!
But, the biggest thank you of all has to go to all the members of Newtown Congregational Church. The work that was done was in preparation for the big day was unbelievable. These wonderful members organized, baked, priced, set up, cleaned up, and did so much more. They showed us that when we all work together, anything is possible.
Thank you again Newtown! We hope to see you there next year!
