Singers Preparing A Venetian Christmas

KENT — The Kent Singers, under the direction of Marquerite Muller, will perform “A Venetian Christmas” on Sunday, December 5, at 3 pm, in St Joseph’s Chapel at The Kent School.

From the beautiful, concise style of Claudio Monteverdi to the exuberant, joyful sounds of Giovanni Gabrieli, this program will have your heart soaring. Attendees will be able to close their eyes and be transported to the Cathedral of San Marco.

With works from Gabrieli to Monteverdi, the magic of Venice at Christmas will shine through these composers’ works. The Litchfield Brass ensemble will accompany the concert.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Children 15 and under will be admitted free with paying adult.
