Helping Louisiana Ballplayers

The Newtown Force softball team is collecting clothes, shoes and personal items to aid Louisiana PONY softball and baseball players, their families and neighbors. PONY has set up specific collection sites and will distribute to those in need.

One of the softball league directors asked for items you would normally donate to Good Will or would sell at a garage sale. The Force is also collecting donations of money to help pay for gas.

 Clean your closets out to help. Drop off this Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 145 Currituck Road, Newtown, or call 203-270-3627.

NHS Field Project Meeting

The Newtown High School Blue & Gold Booster Club will be holding informational presentations at the high school on Thursdays, September 22, 29 and October 6 at 7”30 pm in Room A107. The goal of the presentations is to explain in detail what the Booster Club is attempting to accomplish with its new fundraising project and how the general public can assist.
