St Rose Crystal Ball Promises A Red Carpet Experience

MONROE — The 2nd Annual St Rose Crystal Ball will take place this weekend. The red carpet gala will be Saturday, February 10, at The Waterview, 215 Roosevelt Drive (Route 34, less than a mile from the Newtown-Monroe town line), running from 7 pm until midnight.

As a celebration, the event brings the St Rose Parish community and friends together for a special evening of socializing, fine gourmet dining, and dancing to a 15-piece swing orchestra from Manhattan.

As a fundraiser, the evening’s live and silent auction will offer guests “an unprecedented all access pass to the most elusive and unreachable red carpet lifestyle,” promises event co-coordinator Stephanie DeBartolomeo, who is co-chairing the event with Tracy Brady. The gala offers exclusive events and items from some very famous people, including Donald Trump, Derek Jeter, Tiki Barber, and celebrity makeover maestro Chuck Hezekiah. An Oscar-winning actor and actress will each be represented, and luxury vacations, a Hummer2, and a private Newport yacht cruise round out the auction highlights.

A red carpet entrance and signature Crystal martini will open the night. Guests will be served with “white glove service throughout the evening and surrounded by shimmering winter decor and the opulence of genuine Swarovski crystals, creating a luminous ambiance,” according to Ms DeBartolomeo

The evening will also feature a Champagne bar, where ladies will the chance to win an exquisite nine-carat (tw) diamond and ruby bracelet, and a VIP Cognac Bar where men will have a chance to win an accessory package featuring one carat (tw) diamond and onyx cufflinks.

Tickets are $125 per person. Although Ms Brady says the response has been overwhelming, the planners can accommodate any last minute guests given the size of the Waterview’s Grand Ball Room.
