Questions About

Health Care Reform

To the Editor:

“Un-American attacks can’t derail health care debate.” Nancy Pelosi, USA Today.

I am shocked at the leadership of this country is slamming Americans that just want information from their government. We Americans that ask questions (I am 64 years old) have been called Nazis and right wing radicals. All we want to know is this; how much is it gonna cost, do I get to see my doctor when I want, will there be any rationing, and is Chris Murphy, Chris Dodd, and Joe Lieberman going to change their present health care to this one? Is that to much to ask? If it’s so great, guess they have already filled out the application, right?

Citizens, contact Chris Murphy’s office (203-798-2072) and demand that he have a town hall meeting in our area — ask him your questions, but please no Nazi arm bands (they were for socialized medicine if you check your history books), be polite and finally: Who has really read this bill? Is it the best thing we can get for the money? Our grandchildren will be paying for it, along with everything else that has been pushed down our throats. Is this the legacy we want to leave them?
