Lecture To Reveal ‘The Vitamin Connection To A Healthy Heart’

BRIDGEPORT — St Vincent’s Medical Center is sponsoring a free talk open to the general public titled “The Vitamin Connection to a Healthy Heart” as a part of its 2010 Fall Listen & Learn Lecture Series.

The talk will take place on Thursday, November 18, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm, hosted by The Watermark, at 3030 Park Avenue.

Featured speaker, cardiologist Gregory Bloom, MD, will discuss everyday practices, what means are necessary, and ones people should avoid to keep our hearts healthy and strong.

Dr Bloom is board certified and specializes in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography, with a subspecialty in noninvasive cardiology. He received a bachelor of science degree at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., and his medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.

Dr Bloom practices medicine at the Connecticut Heart and Vascular Center, with offices located Bridgeport, Norwalk, and Shelton.

A question and answer session will follow the presentation, and light refreshments will be provided.
