An Educational And Civilized Meeting
An Educational And Civilized Meeting
To the Editor:
I would like to thank the members of the Fairfield Hills Master Plan Review Committee, the Board of Selectmen, Rosa Zubizarreta (our facilitator), and my fellow participants on the Fairfield Hills Microcosm Council for the opportunity to join in the conversation regarding the five-year review of the Fairfield Hills Master Plan. I am not exaggerating when I say it was the most educational and civilized public meeting I have ever attended. The members of the council showed sincere concern for the well-being of the town and its citizens during our meetings.
All the documents we used for our meeting are available at www.newtown-ct.gov/Public_Documents/NewtownCT_FFHMPRC/index. The links to each of 14 documents are listed below the bold subheading âAdditional Links.â I encourage anyone interested in the learning more about the Fairfield Hills campus to read these documents and come to the open community conversation to be held in the Alexandria Room at Edmond Town Hall on Wednesday, March 16, and Wednesday, March 23, from 6:30 to 9 pm.
Again, many thanks for an outstanding experience. I enjoyed hearing and learning from each and every one of you.
Very truly yours,
Melinda Reynolds
