To the Editor:

Thank you District 3 voters for placing your trust in me to represent you and your families as a member of Newtown’s Legislative Council! I look forward to serving you.

At the same time, I hope to repay your trust by doing as promised during the campaign; listening to your concerns, understanding your points of view. and being responsive on issues that matter to you. We may not agree on every issue but, I will respect and represent your concerns to the best of my abilities.

In closing, I’d like to also extend special thank yous to my wife Luisa, for her support during this run for office, as well as to Antonia and Alan Fotinopoulas, Bill Brimmer and newly elected Police Commissioner Paul Mangiafico for their having submitted wonderful letters of endorsement on my behalf to The Newtown Bee.

This week, you elected a great bunch of people, all privileged to be serving with an outstanding first selectman in Pat Llodra and a pair of extraordinarily devoted selectmen in Will Rodgers and Jim Gaston. I appreciate the trust you’ve placed in me to represent you. I will not let you down!
