Nonagenarian Was Manufacturing Engineer With DuPont Sorvall
Albert William Zaccardi, 95, of Great Quarter Road, Sandy Hook (Stevenson), a retired manufacturing engineer with Sikorsky Aircraft and DuPont Sorvall, Medical Products Division of Newtown, died October 29. Mr Zaccardi was born in New York City and was a resident of Bridgeport for many years, where he completed all his schooling, prior to moving to Newtown in 1946.
He was an alumnus of New Haven University and a lifetime member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
A sister, Gloria Zaccardi Mard, and several nieces and nephews survive Mr Zaccardi. He was predeceased by his brother G. William Zaccardi, and three sisters, Lena Zaccardi, Nellie Zaccardi Cerreta, and Mary Zaccardi Ochsner.
