Finding Warmth At The Middle School
Finding Warmth
At The Middle School
To the Editor:
A note of appreciation is due to the Red Cross organization and all the volunteers who worked at the middle school shelter during the blackout.
From the time we arrived until we left when the power was restored to my home, we were made as comfortable as possible. Hot coffee, snacks, water, and hot meals were available. Physical help was available for people who needed it at all hours.
We were warm, well fed, and were extremely glad that we made the decision to take advantage of the shelter and its warmth, both literally and figuratively.
Sincerely,
Margaret âPeggyâ Sabia
