Teleclass On Doing Business

With The Fed

STAMFORD — Small businesses are always looking for new ways to expand their customer base, but even more so in this difficult economy. Many businesses are not aware that the federal government has special programs for small business owners.

To learn more, join the Women’s Business Development Council for an interactive teleclass that will provide established small business owners with critical information on how to do just that. Participants will learn where to register, resources and programs available, marketing tips, how to decipher federal set-asides, and how to find available bids.

Navigating through the Central Contracting Registry (CCR) and FedBizOps as well as SBA’s new set-aside program for Women Owned Small Businesses and Economically Disadvantaged Small Businesses will also be covered.

The teleclass will be offered Tuesday, January 31, from noon to 1:30 pm, and there is no charge to participate. Registration is required, however.

For more information call 203-353-1750.
