A Musical Salute To Veterans Of All American Wars, Sunday Afternoon

BROOKFIELD — Billy Michael and his band, J&B Lite, will perform a free concert to honor area veterans on Sunday, November 4, at 2 pm, at Brookfield Public Library, 182 Whisconier Road.

The event is part of the community’s 9th annual veteran’s program, “A Musical Salute to Veterans,” sponsored by Brookfield Historical Society and the Brookfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10201.

Mr Michael, who leads the group, will present a selection of popular music which emerged during America’s military campaigns from the Civil War through World War I and II and up to the present time. In addition, three decorated area  veterans will be honored for their military service.

Following the performance complimentary refreshments will be served
