New Online Program Offered At UConn

STORRS — Registration is now open for UConn’s online Masters of Professional Studies Program with a concentration in human resource management. The MPS program provides a flexible schedule, fair pricing, and a full-time faculty.

The program is designed to meet the needs of the working professional by providing graduate level courses that can be taken online from any location and at a time that fits into each student’s schedule. All classes are asynchronous, so students do not have to attend class on a specific day or time but can still participate in class discussions. UConn also provides full-time faculty members with professional business experience to focus on students’ work and help them achieve academic and professional success.

This online degree is designed to meet the professional development needs of tomorrow’s HR leaders by providing the latest HR knowledge and skills with an understanding of how they connect, support, and drive modern business strategies. The goal of the program is to develop strategic HR leaders.

The program requires a minimum of 36 graduate-level credit hours that include 30 credit hours of course work and six credit hours for a capstone project completed toward the end of the program. The MPS also includes an issues-based, two-week residency requirement. The program is designed so that working adults can complete all degree requirements within two years, depending upon their schedules.

Registration is now open for the fall semester that begins on August 30 and runs until December 18.
