Taking A Stand

To the Editor:

This note is say a big thank you to the P&Z for taking a stand despite all the pressure from the Danbury developer in regard to the proposed condo complex in Sandy Hook center. His condo complex does not belong there and the only persons to benefit from it would be him and his banker.

It is such a relief to see that the P&Z is continuing to do the right thing in this instance. Sandy Hook would definitely suffer from such a project. Newtown needs a stricter plan for building and zoning. The numerous proposed retail centers along Route 25 are going to be a traffic disaster! Do we really need all those retail centers? How about saving for college and retirement?
