Become A Soccer Referee

Those interested in refereeing recreational and travel soccer games in Newtown must be a certified referee, and must be at least 13 years of age by June 30, 2012. To certify, prospective referees take an online course administered by the Connecticut State Referee Program. An entry-level online training course and a one-day in-class field training/test session are offered. There will be a field session and final test at Newtown High School on Saturday, October 29.  This is the only course and the only time this course will be offered to be able to referee in 2012.
