‘THE ALCHEMIST’S WHITE GOLD’ FORUM AT BRUCE MUSEUM APRIL 16

GREENWICH, CONN. — The Connecticut Ceramics Study Circle and Greenwich Antiques Society seminar, “Meissen — The Passion of Princes: The Alchemist’s White Gold,” will take place Monday, April 16, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm at the Bruce Museum.

The program will be a daylong investigation featuring three lectures and a luncheon. Meredith Chilton of the Melinda and Paul Sullivan Foundation for the Decorative Arts, will presents lectures on: “Discovery and Early Years, 1709–1725,” “The Years of Glory, 1725–1756,” and “Harlequins, Muses and Shepherdesses: Porcelain Sculpture to Adorn the Dessert Table.”
