Garden Club Luncheon With Met’s Master Gardener

DANBURY — On Friday, November 19, The Danbury Garden Club will present Chris Giftos, the master floral designer for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as the featured guest speaker for its Annual Holiday Luncheon.  The program and luncheon will be held at the Amber Room Colonnade.

Mr Giftos has been with the Metropolitan Museum of Art for 28 years. He works his magic in the Great Hall on Monday mornings when the museum is closed.

In addition to designing at the museum, he lectures to groups at home and abroad. He is also the author of the book A Bouquet From The Met and has been a guest on television shows such as Martha Stewart Living and Oprah.
