Local Designer To Offer Classes

Diana Baxter, decorative artist and designer and owner of Newtown’s Painted Bungalow, will present a series of free seminars on color, design, and décor at Homestyle Designer Furniture Store, 292 Elm Street, Monroe, beginning with Color Theory 101 on Friday, May 5, from 10:30 to 11:30 am.

This class will focus on the basics of color theory; the color wheel; the effect of color on mood; how to choose paint colors for your interiors; and how to use an inspirational piece to formulate your room’s palette.
