Hats Off To Newtown

To the Editor,

A thank you note is in order to Newtown’s Stop & Shop and Newtown Hardware. Thank you for donating hats that our son gave away to needy people in Haiti on a recent trip he took, sponsored by Newtown’s Rotary and the Haitian Health Foundation. You gave to them freely and without hesitation. All of your big hearts have left a small piece of Newtown to people who need it, and appreciate it.
