Spa Day At IAIS

WASHINGTON — The Institute for American Indian Studies will present “Spa Day at the Museum” on Sunday, August 27. Practitioners in fields concerned with the connections between the mind, body, and spirit will provide their services in one convenient location.

Visitors can pay $15 for each practitioner they choose to visit and be serviced by, or the regular museum admission of $4 to enter the spa and simply meet the vendors. The event will run from noon to 4:30 pm.

As assortment of practitioners will be present, including those who specialize in energy balancing, energy chelation, consegrity, reiki, facial treatments, chiropractic adjustments, nutrition counseling, herbal therapies, and tarot reading. A Guatemalan shaman is expected to participate.
