Treblehook Concert Will Mark The Beginning Of Summerâs End
Music lovers of all ages are invited to the back lawn of C.H. Booth Library in Newtown to enjoy some home-grown talent. On Friday, August 18, the trio Treblehook will perform the final concert of the libraryâs 2000 Summer Concert Series.
Admission is free, and picnics are welcome. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. In the event of bad weather, the concert will move into the libraryâs lower meeting room.
Treblehookâs members are Andy Spencer and brothers Alan and Brian Morgan, all of whom grew up together in Sandy Hook. The group performs a wide range of contemporary acoustic music with an emphasis on vocals. Their repertoire includes a mix of traditional folk and pop, with several original compositions. The trio recently released its first full CD, called Hooked.
