Agnes V. Saul

Agness V. (McMahon) Saul, of Bridgeport, a retired accountant with the New Haven and Hartford Railroad for 40 years, died on September 5 in St Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport.

She was the stepmother of Vera Anderson of Newtown.

Born in Providence, R.I., Mrs Saul has been a Bridgeport resident for the past 35 years, and was formerly of New Haven. She was the wife of the late John L. Saul, Sr.

Survivors also include two brothers, Bernard McMahon of Barrington, R.I., and Charles McMahon of Providence, R.I.; three step-grandsons, Frank Podrasky DMD, of East Haven, Victor Podrasky of Derby, and Charles Anderson, Jr, of Arlington, Tex.; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

A memorial Service for the Dead took place on September 7 in the Read Memorial Chapel at Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Interment followed in Mountain Grove Cemetery.

The Spear Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield, was in charge of arrangements.
