Kripalu Yoga Available In Summer Series
SEYMOUR â A late summer series of Kripalu Yoga classes begins Thursday, July 26, at Great Hill United Methodist Church.
Growing numbers of people are discovering the many benefits of yoga: increased ability to relax and cope with stress; greater health and well-being; greater flexibility, strength, balance, and energy; improved self-esteem and confidence; and enhanced concentration and clarity.
Students may choose from a morning session starting at 9:30 am or an evening session at 6 pm. The 90-minute classes teach gentle stretching, yoga postures, breathing exercises, deep relaxation, and meditation techniques. They are for all levels of students.
The fee is $55 for the five-week session. Students should bring an exercise mat or blankets.
Call Sue Wall, MPH, a certified yoga instructor and yoga therapist, at 203-888-7012 to register. The church is at 225 Great Hill Road, on the corner of Route 188 at Route 334.
