Halloween Fundraiser A Success

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Newtown Middle School Youth Advisory Board, sponsored by Newtown Youth Services and the American Red Cross, I would like to thank the generous people of Newtown for their support of the MSYAB’s Halloween fundraiser.

In lieu of trick or treating these middle school students collected money for the Red Cross Liberty Disaster Relief Fund, which benefits the families of September 11th victims. YAB members were pleased to net contributions amounting to just under $300 for this special fund.
