The College Admissions Process

David Borus, admissions director at Vassar College, will present an interactive program on November 29 at 7 pm at Newtown High School. The program, “How Colleges Decide Who Gets Accepted, Denied, or Wait Listed,” is open to eleventh and twelfth grade students and their parents.

The program promises “to take the mystery out of the process for everybody,” said Neil Culhane, director of guidance at NHS.
