The Arctic
WILTON â Internationally acclaimed violinist Eugenia Choi and concert pianist Henry Wong Doe will perform classical music selections to help highlight the threat of global warming in the Arctic in âConcert for The Arcticâ on Saturday, October 18, beginning at 7:30 pm, at Wilton Library.
 Described as a âsensational forceâ by La Republique (France), Miss Choi regularly plays at venues such as Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. Mr Wong Doe is a winner of Audience Favorite prizes at the Rubinstein and Busoni International Piano Competitions.
The recital will be introduced by Adam Markham, founding CEO of the non-profit National Geographic expedition to Svalbard in the Norwegian high Arctic that both he and Choi participated in.
A meet-the-artists reception will follow the performance.
Suggested donation is $15 adults, $5 children, and proceeds will benefit Clean Air-Cool Planet and Wilton Libraryâs environmental collection. Reservations are highly recommended.
