Where Are The Windows?

To the Editor:

In your recent article about the new sports facilities at Fairfield Hills, I mostly agree with your reporter, except for one line.

The new buildings do not “fit right in” with the historic architecture of the original Fairfield Hills Hospital. Despite their ill-repair these days, the original buildings were a monument to craftsmanship, design, and material. The new sports facility looks like a brick airport hangar. Did someone forget the windows?
