Betraying The American People
Betraying The American People
To the Editor:
Benedict Arnold betrayed our Revolution. Obama is betraying the American people today. His activities since taking office have one goal...the destruction of the America we have known.
For 20 years he attended Jeremiah Wrightâs church where he was deluged with liberation philosophy. This states that those who succeeded in America have done so on the backs of minorities and the lower classes. Consequently, his goal now is to return Americaâs wealth to these groups. This belief, coupled with his dependence upon Marxist Sol Olinskyâs âRules for Radicals,â is evidenced in all heâs done. Olinskyâs theory is to keep the public confused by establishing such a large number of programs that the public cannot follow what is happening politically or economically. This epitomizes Obamaâs first six months in office. He has done so much that this letter must be divided into several parts.
His father was an African Marxist who hated Englandâs colonization of Africa. This explains the disdain Obama demonstrates towards England, our closest ally. He has completely ignored Israel, our democratic ally in the Middle East, while bowing to the Saudi king. His speech in Egypt was an apology for what he called Americaâs arrogance. His Iranian policy is one of fawning appeasement. They can go nuclear even though they have pledged to wipe Israel off of the face of the earth. We, on the other hand, must depend upon windmills and solar panels.
His new allies are leftist dictators. He has renewed ties with the Castros, Hugo Chavez and Manuel Ortega. He refused to âmeddleâ while Iranians were being killed during their attempt at democracy, but immediately called for the reinstatement of Manuel Zelaya, the left-wing Honduran dictator and Chavez protégé, who violated the countryâs constitution by removing term limits on his presidency. The Honduran Supreme Court, congress, and the military peacefully removed him.
We have a Judeo-Christian heritage. When speaking at Georgetown University, he had the cross covered. During the Egypt speech, he stated that we are not a Christian country and told the Arab world that weâre the largest Muslim country.
He promised transparency; however, he forced the stimulus bill through in days despite legislators not having time to read it. The public had no idea what it contained. He said if it didnât pass immediately, unemployment would rise from eight percent to nine percent. It passed and unemployment is now 9.6 percent (under Bush it was 5.4 percent). Cap and Trade was rushed through the House and again no time was allowed to read the bill. A physical copy of the bill was not present in the House. This week he withdrew his campaign promise of placing a bill on a website for five days for public review. There will be no discussion of the health care bill and no opportunity for Republican viewpoints. This bill will destroy the greatest medical system in the world.
Call our senators (202-224-3121) to stop Cap and Trade.
