Bus Trip To Broadway

A coach bus trip is being planned for Saturday, March 12, at 10 am, from the lower parking lot at Edmond Town Hall to New York City to see the off-Broadway show, Menopause The Musical. The trip is open to the public.

Event organizer Marie Sturdevant said she decided to arrange for a bus when so many members of her church fellowship group decided they wanted to see the show. There are plenty of empty seats on the bus, however, for anyone would like to go.

“I’ve already seen the show — it is truly a very good comedy,” she said.

The cost for the excursion is $82, which includes the bus trip and a ticket to the show. There will be enough time for everyone to have lunch at their leisure, then proceed to the theater to pick up the tickets by 2:30 pm. The play begins at 3 pm. The bus will leave immediately afterward to return to Newtown.
