Cardiac Health, Wellness Program And Screening Offered
REDDING â The public is invited to interact with cardiovascular health experts from Danbury Hospitalâs Praxair Regional Heart and Vascular Center on Thursday, March 18, at Meadow Ridge, 100 Redding Road, starting at 5:30 pm.
Featured speaker will be cardiologist Brian Pollack, MD, an attending cardiologist in the Department of Cardiology at Danbury Hospital. He will discuss the risk factors, chronic diseases, and lifestyle choices that contribute to heart disease and other serious health concerns. Dr Pollack is a practicing physician at Cardiac Specialists, P.C. in Ridgefield.
Staff from the Praxair Regional Heart and Vascular Center at Danbury Hospital will conduct free heart health risk factor assessments and blood pressure screenings from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Dr Pollackâs heart healthy lecture begins promptly at 6:30 pm.
