German AFS Student In Need Of Host Family

AFS, formerly American Field Service, is seeking immediate housing in the area for a teenage student from Germany, now being hosted by a family in New York, who can no longer host him after this weekend, March 13. All AFS families receive the support of local AFS volunteers and staff. Students come with their own spending money and medical coverage and desire to participate as active members of the host family, school, and community in which they are placed.

Julius likes sports such as tennis and golfing. Back in Germany, he takes part in free-riding, which is competitive bike trail riding. He is described as friendly, funny, and an all around nice guy. His teachers speak highly of him as a student and a person.

For more information contact Jennifer Anderson, senior regional hosting coordinator, AFS-USA, email janderson@afs.org, call 410-539-5997, extension 131, or fax 410-630-7285.
