Trespassing
Police said that after learning that police held an arrest warrant, an unidentified person turned himself/herself over to police at the police station on the morning on July 17 and was charged with failure to respond to an infraction and with simple trespassing.
Police said that the person had been issued an infraction for simple trespassing in the past, but did not respond to it, so they obtained an arrest warrant for the person.
The person posted $92 bail and was released from custody for an August 1 appearance in court, police said.
Because the person charged was under age 18 when the original incident occurred, he/she is considered a youthful offender and the personâs identity is not disclosed by police.
South Main Accident

At that time, motorist Dalip Egriu, 46, of Stratford was driving a Toyota Tercel coupe southward on South Main Street, police report.
The two vehicles collided. There were no injuries. Police said they issued Chalk a written warning for failure to grant the right of way.
