Priscilla S. Caposella

Priscilla S. Caposella, 62, wife of Fred Caposella, Jr, of Red River Lane, Newtown, died May 1 in The Kent Specialty and Rehabilitation Center, Kent.

Mrs Caposella was born in New York City, November 7, 1940, a daughter of the late Lauri and Lydia (Happenami) Wickeri. She attended Westchester Community College.

A resident of Newtown since 1968, Priscilla was a dog breeder and for many years operated Animal Acres on Hattertown Road in Newtown where she raised poodles. She also operated a child care center for 15 years. Priscilla was a longtime member of Newtown Animal Welfare Association.

In addition to her husband, Priscilla is survived by three sons, Fred Caposella III of Danbury, Brett Caposella of Waterbury, and Alan Caposella of Newtown; two brothers, Philip Wickeri of California and Randy Wickeri of New Jersey; and four granddaughters, Kristen, Amanda, Megan, and Lauren Caposella.

Funeral Services were held May 5 in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Interment was in Newtown Village Cemetery.
