Openings In Alamanda Women’s Choir

Alamanda Women’s Choir of Connecticut is holding auditions for its upcoming seventh season. Adults, and girls 16 years of age and older, are welcome. Sopranos, especially, are needed at this time.

Founder and director Amy Bernon started Alamanda in 2001 in order to provide local women with a unique singing venue. Each year, the choir learns a variety of challenging and beautiful music in a friendly environment.

Members come from Litchfield, Oxford, Waterbury, Woodbury, and other towns and cities in the region. Rehearsals take place in Southbury on Wednesday evenings, September through May. The Choir has performed at churches, restaurants, and retirement villages throughout the area.

For information or to schedule a private audition time, call Ms Bernon at 232-7857.
