Registration Underway For Spring Courses At NVCC

 WATERBURY — Registration for spring credit courses at Naugatuck Valley Community College is underway. The upcoming semester offers a wide variety of courses for students who are working toward a degree or certificate, interested in earning transfer credits, or want to take a course or two to learn new skills.

 Classes begin on January 21. Continuing students can register online through January 20, by mail or fax between through December 31, and in person from January 3 through January 20. New students are invited to apply to online, by mail, or in person through January 14. Senior citizens age 62 and over may register for tuition-free classes January 20 through January 28.

 Naugatuck Valley offers more than 100 associate’s degrees and certificates including accounting, automotive technician, aviation science, behavioral science, business management, computer information systems, criminal justice, digital arts technology, early childhood education, engineering technology, environmental science, fine arts (with concentrations in art, dance, multimedia technology, music, and theater arts), fire technology and administration, food service management, general studies, horticulture, hospitality management, human services, legal assistant/paralegal, liberal arts and sciences, marketing, mathematics and science, nursing, physical therapist assistant, radiologic technology and respiratory care.
