Moms Groups — Still a few openings!

Newborn to 12 Months — Tuesdays, 10:30 to 11:30 am beginning January 25

Walkers to 18 months — Thursdays, 10:30 to 11:30 am beginning January 25

These groups run for 10 weeks and the cost is $25.

Gym Time will begin on Wednesday, January 26 from 10 am to 12 pm; cost is $30.

Moms of Multiples will begin on January 28 and will meet monthly at the Meeting House from 10 to 11 am. There is no charge for this group. Please call to register for all above groups.

Parents Groups

Newtown Parent Connection — “If You Love Me, Why Don’t You Listen to Me?” is the next Parent Connection forum on Tuesday, February 15 at 7 pm in the Newtown Middle School auditorium. Cher Shannon, MHSA, LADC will be the presented.

  Hope Support Group — Parents with questions or concerns about their child’s possible or confirmed involvement with substances are invited to attend the Hope Support Group. Meetings are Mondays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm in the Parents’ Corner. All are Welcome.

Community Service Learning Program — Make a difference in your community and build service hours while you have fun! Two exciting programs are starting soon at Newtown Middle School: Your Community Environment and Community Building. Choose one or both! Mandatory meeting is Tuesday, February 15 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at Newtown Middle School. After Winter Break, meetings will be held on alternate Tuesdays. To register, call NYS by February 11.

 Super Sitters — March dates coming soon!

 HSYAB will meet on Monday, January 31 at 5:30 pm.

 MSYAB please watch for emails concerning upcoming meeting schedules.

 NYCAAP—AIDS awareness group for high school students—Meets Wednesdays at 7:30 pm at NYS.    

 Children of Divorce —Grades 1 through 6, meets first and third Monday of the month. Due to Winter Break, this group will meet only meet once, February 7 from 6 to 7:15 pm. This is an interactive group using tools such as art therapy and games. Please call for further information.

SibShops — Grades 1 through 6. Usually meets the last Monday of the month from 5 to 7 pm. The next meeting will be February 28 and is ongoing through May.

There is no fee for either Children of Divorce or SibShops.
