Sacred Choral Music By Concordia Chorale

NEW MILFORD — The Concordia Chorale will perform a program of sacred choral music on Saturday, December 9, at 4 pm, at St John’s Episcopal Church. The church is at 7 Whittesey Avenue (on the green).

The intergenerational chorale, which is the community chorus of Connecticut Conservatory of the Performing Arts, is under the direction of Sean Burton. Maxim Vladimiroff will accompany the chorale.

The varied program will include compositions by Handel, Bach, Rutter, Willan, Howells and Pinkham, as well as some modern arrangements of spirituals and familiar seasonal music created by Robert Shaw and Aaron Copland, among others.
