Informational Meeting_On Special Needs Adoption

NORWALK — Family and Children’s Agency in Norwalk is looking for families in the greater Danbury area to adopt Connecticut’s children through a special program funded by the Department of Children and Families.

The agency is particularly interested in recruiting families willing to adopt older children (ages five and up), sibling groups, and children with physical, intellectual, and/or emotional challenges. There are also younger children available who are not yet legally free for adoption but should be at a future date.

There are no costs involved in this program and medical and financial assistance may be available.

An informational meeting will be held on Thursday, August 24, at 6 pm at the Danbury Public Library, 170 Main Street in Danbury, or call Nancy Lindahl at 800/676-4066.

Hershey’s Kisses are called that because the machine that makes the candies looks like it is kissing the conveyor belt.
