Michael S. Caserta lll, 60, originally of Fairfield, died September 26 at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center in Ridgefield. He was born on July 20, 1956, in Bridgeport, son of the late Michael S., Jr, and Anita Maiorano Caserta.

Mr Caserta attended Andrew Warde High School and graduated with honors from Sacred Heart University, studying part of a year in Ireland.

He was employed by Pitney Bowes in Stamford as a senior computer operator for more than 20 years. He was also a member of Redding Grange.

His cousin Jane Ventrella and her children, cousins Sal and Nora Amato, and close family friend Rachelle Cinque survive him. Charlene Cinque Teeple, his mother's godchild, predeceased him.

"Mickey" (as he was called by his family) was supported in his life and faith by his dear friends of the Newtown Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 1, at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue in Norwalk. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Group prayer will be conducted by Bishop Ron Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Newtown.

Burial will immediately follow the service at St John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
