Gone Too Soon

Michael Thomas Gagliardi, 24, of Newtown, formerly of New Fairfield, died December 26. Michael was born in Danbury, son of Nancy Barra and Thomas P. Gagliardi.

He was a graduate of Newtown High School and worked as a carpenter. He had a great love for the outdoors and was an avid fisherman.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister Megan Gagliardi of Oxford; his maternal grandmother Myrna Barra of Brookfield; his aunt and uncle Arlene and John Morris of Brookfield; his uncle Mark Barra of Newtown; and several cousins.

Funeral services will be private. Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.

Contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
