Women’s Professional Development Workshop

WESTPORT — Have you been thinking about giving your image a makeover? Image is crucial in business, but how we make those necessary changes in order to be competitive can be daunting.

To that end, the Entrepreneurial Women’s Network (EWN) will sponsor a professional development workshop on January 10 featuring Aly Dunne, a body-image and makeover expert who teaches empowerment workshops for women and teenaged girls in Fairfield County.

The event will be held from 6 to 9 pm at the Aly Dunne Workshop Studio in Wilton.

Dunne is co-creator and president of the Aly Dunne Workshop, teaching the tools needed to affirm self-worth, build self-confidence, and have a healthy body-image. She also assists women with complete makeovers of their wardrobes, presentation skills, and personal belief structures about their health and beauty.

Born in Ireland, this three-time Vogue cover model has worked with such greats as Valentino, Karl Lagerfeld, Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren, and John Galliano. She has starred in almost every major runway show in New York, Paris, and Milan and graced the cover of Newsweek. Ms Dunne also creates and facilitates innovative programs with the Girl Scout Council for young women ages 8–18, helping girls build their self-esteem and self-confidence.
