Elsie N.      Coughlan
Elsie N. Coughlan, 93, wife of the late James J. Coughlan, formerly of Farmington, died December 28 in Pope John II Healthcare Center, Danbury, where she had resided the past few years.
She was born in Newtown May 10, 1911, a daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Qubick) Bresson. Mrs Coughlan was a longtime resident of Farmington prior to her illness.
She is survived by one son, James Coughlan of Avon; one daughter, Carol Crenshaw of Longmont, Colo.; one brother, Francis Bresson of Sandy Hook; two sisters, Anna Maye of Newtown and Mary Maye of Sandy Hook; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Friday, December 31, in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown. Interment will follow in St Rose Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are by the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
