Cheshire MOPS Hosts Jill Savage:

Two Events, Two Locations

The Cheshire Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) will host nationally known speaker and author Jill Savage in two venues on Friday, January 14. Ms Savage is the founder and executive director of Hearts at Home, an organization designed to encourage and educate women in the profession of motherhood.

The morning event, entitled “The ABC’s of a Healthy Marriage,” will be held from 9 to 11 at Christ Community Church, 120 Main Street in Cheshire. The evening event, “Making the Right Choices,” will be presented from 7 to 9 at Hope Evangelical Free Church, 240 Wolfpit Road in Wilton.

Ms Savage’s experiences as a wife and mother of five children have encouraged her to share her passion for marriage and motherhood through writing books and speaking engagements. “The ABC’s of a Healthy Marriage” emphasizes that one of the most important things parents can do for their children is to nurture their marriage. Ms Savage will touch on such topics as allowing for differences, love languages, communication, and forgiveness. Light breakfast is provided. Admission is $7; seating and child care are limited.

The Friday evening program, “Making the Right Choices,” focuses on the dozens of little choices people make everyday. This message focuses on the effects of these choices make in homes, religious institutions, and communities. Coffee and dessert provided. Admission is $15; no child care at the evening event.
