Beloved Husband, Father, And Grandfather
Ronald C. Lincoln, 69, of Sandy Hook, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital, December 23, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Christine F. (Repole) Lincoln. He was born in Danbury, February 16, 1942, the son of Herbert and Ruth Starr Lincoln.
He attended New Fairfield schools and was a member of the Danbury High School Class of 1961. He served with the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
An active longtime member of Teamsterâs Local 677, Mr Lincoln retired ten years ago.
He was a loving husband, dad, and grandfather, a passionate and excellent cook, and an avid UConn basketball and NASCAR fan.
Besides his wife of 45 years, survivors include his daughters, Cassie Lincoln Smith, and her husband Michael, of Sherborn, Mass., and Kari Pesavento, and her husband Scott, of Milford. Three loving grandchildren; his sister, Barbara Moissonnier of Danbury; and several nieces and nephews also survive Mr Lincoln. He will be especially missed by his beloved yellow Labrador.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated December 28. Burial was in St Peterâs Cemetery, Danbury.
