Father Of Four

David B. Ainley, 47, of Newtown died December 26 from injuries sustained in automobile accident in North Salem, N.Y. Mr Ainley was the husband of Mairead (Smith) Ainley.

He was born in Bronxville, N.Y., a son of Gloria (DeCarolis) Ainley of Newtown and the late Warren Ainley. Mr Ainley grew up in Norwalk and was a graduate of Brian McMahon High School. He was a resident of Newtown the past seven years and previously lived in Bethel.

In addition to his wife and mother, Mr Ainley is survived by his children, Kyle Ainley, twins, Sarah and Connor Ainley, and Rebecca Ainley; three brothers, Christopher Ainley and Stephen Ainley, both of Bethel, and Robert Ainley of Bedford, N.Y.; two sisters, Elizabeth Barnak of Bethel and Carolyn Ainley of Newtown; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was scheduled for 8 pm, Thursday, December 29, in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Cremation will be private. Calling hours were scheduled for Thursday from 7 pm to 8 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
