A Grateful Resident

This letter to First Selectman Herb Rosenthal was received for publication in The Bee.

Dear Herb:

Thanks again for your assistance in getting things cleared with Planning and Zoning. Too often people forget to give a “thank you” for help. I guess I’ve known you since you first rang my doorbell back in the late 1990s looking for my vote.

Since then you’ve gotten local drainage problems resolved with the highway department, gotten the local roads paved after 40 years, storm drains installed, my town easement resolved.

I would just like to thank you for the “open door” policy I’ve always received from you when something needed to be done.
