Melanie Bot & Glenn Zuklie

Tibor and Susan Bot of Newtown announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Anne Bot, also of Newtown, to Glenn James Zuklie of Newtown.

Ms Bot graduated from Newtown High School in 2000 and then attended Danbury Hospital’s School of Radiologic Technology. She is now employed as a radiologic technologist at Connecticut Family Orthopedics.

Mr Zuklie is the son of James and the late Carole Zuklie.

He graduated from Newtown High School in 1991, and then attended Central Connecticut State University. He is a retired Waterbury police officer, and is attending Western Connecticut State University, pursuing a degree in Justice & Law Administration.

The couple celebrated their engagement in Hawaii. A November 2007 wedding is being planned.
