Louise Angelina Mei

Lifelong Ridgefield Resident

Louise Angelina Mei, 75, a lifelong Ridgefield resident, died December 24 at Danbury Hospital. Mrs Mei was born in Ridgefield on June 5, 1931, daughter of John and Rosa (Paola) Pierpaoli.

Three sisters, Frances Baldwin of Newtown, Mary DeManuel of Norwalk, and Joan Coniglio of Port St Lucie, Fla.; two sons, Donald Mei of Ridgefield and Robert Mei and his wife, Barbara, of Brookfield; two grandsons, Robert Mei III and Tyler Mei of Brookfield; and several nieces and nephews survive her.

Mrs Mei attended Ridgefield schools and graduated from Ridgefield High School in 1950. She was active in the American Legion Auxiliary, the Ridgefield chapter of AARP, and was a member of St Mary’s Church.

The family was scheduled to receive friends at Kane Funeral Home in Ridgefield on December 28.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 29, at 10:15 am, in St Mary’s Church, Ridgefield. Burial will follow in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ridgefield.
